Berkshire Digital was initially started to help meet the print needs of some of the artists represented by The Iris Gallery of Fine Art Photography, along with providing a source to artists and illustrators for high end fine art reproductions. Fred Collins, owner of Berkshire Digital, has had his own photography business for over thirty years in Boston, Stamford and now the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. His digital experience started in the early 1990’s when he took his first Photoshop course offered by Apple Computer at the Center for Creative Imaging. Since then, he has combined photography, digital imaging and retouching for a variety of advertising clients including Agfa, Dow Plastics, Fortune Brands, KLM Airlines, Potlatch Paper and Steinway & Sons.
